Judy Wagoner
Judy Wagoner, 73, went to be with the Lord Wednesday afternoon, July 27, 2016, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born on Nov. 14, 1942 in Muncie the daughter of Earl and Dorothy (Fisher) Cumings, attended Cowan High School and graduated from North Webster High School.
She worked at the Animal Medical Center in Yorktown and in the insurance offices of Dr. Jeffrey Bird’s Office, Dr. Phillip Cooley’s Office, and retired from the Muncie Eye Center.
She was a member of Cowan Christian Church, the Red Hat Society, Eagles Lodge FOE #231 Auxiliary, and the Women of the Moose Lodge #712. Judy enjoyed fishing, traveling, shopping, arts and crafts festivals, and spending time with her family and friends. She also was a campground host at Brookville and wintered in Brownsville, TX.
Surviving are her husband, Jack; four children: Lori Mark (husband, Jon), Leesburg; Mark Strombeck (wife, Beth), Selma; Scott Strombeck (wife, Kris), Selma; and Jason Strombeck (Fiancée, Derenda), Muncie; four step-children: Kellie Wagoner, Muncie; Scott Wagoner, Muncie; Brad Fields, Fishers; and Sue Walters, Muncie; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Dave Cumings (wife, Suzy), Bloomington; and Bruce Cumings (wife, Karen), Warsaw; her sister, Shirley Dillmon (husband, Bob), Cowan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her second husband, Robert M. Fields.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Pastor Larry Delaney officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday or one hour prior to services on Monday.
