Thelma Dennison
Thelma Dennison, 80, of rural Wabash, died at 3:22 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at her home. She was born Aug. 12, 1935 in Paintsville, Ky. to Jim Martin and Lovie (Hill) Martin Music.
Thelma married Purvis Dennison in Paintsville on March 4, 1953; he died April 5, 1998. She worked for Wabash Magnetics 50 years. She was a active member of the Grace Fellowship Church in Wabash. Thelma enjoyed gardening, mowing her lawn, visiting with friends, and her cat, “Baby”.
She is survived by her three children: Linda Noderer, Wabash; Jim (Cindy) Dennison, Marion; and Keith (Dawn) Dennison, Wabash; eight grandchildren: Christina Wesley, Wabash; Chad (Jodi) Dennison, Bringhurst; Michael (Terri) Dennison, Wabash; Ryan Dennison, Marion; Jared (Liza) Dennison, Spring Valley, Calif.; Daniel Gaylord, Wabash; Jacob (Rachel) Kelly, Fort Campbell, Ky.; and Jesse Kelly, Wabash; 24 great grandchildren; and her sister, Cynthia Smith, Wabash.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
Funeral services and entombment will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, at the Chapel of Remembrance Mausoleum at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, 1100 Manchester Avenue, Wabash with Rev. Rick Harrison officiating.
