Marshall County 911 Calls Are Being Rerouted To Kosciusko County Due To A Cut Fiber
MARSHALL COUNTY — Due to a cut in fiber owned by Rochester Telephone Company, the Marshall County Dispatch is receiving 911 calls on a limited basis. The Disaster Recovery Systems from INDigital telecom is now in place. All overflow 911 calls for Marshall County are being re-routed to Kosciusko County. Kosciusko County is able to relay all information to Marshall County. We do not expect this to significantly delay service to our citizens. Two disaster recovery units are en route to Marshall County to restore service until the fiber cut is fixed. You may still dial 574-936-3187 for non-emergency calls. If you need any further information, contact 911 Supervisor Matt Pitney at 574-936-0200. We will send out another notice when service is restored.
