Commissioners Change Speed Limits
KOSCIUSKO — The Kosciusko County Commissioners met today, Tuesday, July 26, to discuss ordinance amendments, appointments and bonding.
Scott Tilden, county highway superintendent, will be given a commitment letter from the commissioners for the Community Crossings Grant for the construction and repaving of roads. There are three road projects at approximately eight miles: County Farm Road between CR 200S and CR 700S, CR 350W between Old Road 30 and New 30 and Old SR 15, between Levi Lee and Armstrong Road.
Tilden also asked for approval to have the speed limit changed from 40 miles per hour to 35 miles per hour on CR 225E, south of CR 75 N, Warsaw. North of CR 75N will remain 40 miles per hour.
There was an approval for a change in language in an ordinance for lake lot property. The intention of the ordinance was to have no sign off from the neighbors for construction as long as there was a 5 foot setback on the lot. The ordinance now agrees with that.
