Fort Wayne Zoo Brings a Crowd to the Community Building
July 20, the Fort Wayne Zoo-mobile brought five animals from the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo for all to see. Kids and adults got to pet three of the five animals Emma, Fort Wayne Zoo educator, brought in. The three, touch-friendly animals Emma brought were two giant African millipedes named Pete and Millie, Thomas the Russian tortoise and Sherman the armadillo.
It was interesting to discover how the animals felt and learn other facts about them. We were unable to touch Tony the Tiger the salamander and Gray, the African gray parrot. Everyone had a great time and we had a full room with an attendance of 78 people. Thank you for coming everyone.
