Foresters Meet For Breakfast With Community
WARSAW — The monthly “Breakfast with a Forester” event convened at American Table on Tuesday, July 19. District Forester of the Indiana Division of Forestry Tim Eizinger was present to help lend his expertise on the topic of forestry.
“What a lot of people don’t know is that forestry is a science,” said Eizinger.
Foresters from the Arrow head Country Resource Conservation and Development Area Forestry Committee were also present to help facilitate discussion and answer questions about this industry both in a professional and land owner capacity.
Interested individuals are invited to enjoy an informal breakfast with the group to ask questions or get advice on general harvesting, insect control or anything involving hardwood forests. The “Breakfast with a Forester” event will continue to meet once a month. The next meeting is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 16. The location for the meeting has yet to be decided.
