WARSAW — Kids and their furry friends had the chance to show off their obedience skills earlier today, Saturday, July 16, during the annual 4-H dog obedience show.
Dogs demonstrated their ability to sit, stay, lie down, come and follow their handlers through a course. Meanwhile, kids showcased the work they have put into training their canine companions. Kids use family pets for 4-H obedience, rather than specially-chosen show dogs. This made for a variety of sizes, breeds and personalities among the dogs.
Results from the 4-H dog obedience show will be available later this afternoon.
