SYRACUSE — Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence winner, Oakwood Resort announces an interactive evening of fun. Local Syracuse artist, Kathy Boyts will instruct her final “wine and canvas” event before her relocation to Florida. This event has been scheduled for 6-9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 28.
Boyts will instruct guests how to turn a blank canvas into a fun, brightly colored floral print. The event is planned outside Oakwood Resort’s waterfront restaurant on the Lakeside Patio overlooking Indiana’s largest natural lake.
Up to a total of 40 guests may participate in this activity, priced at $35 per person. Anyone interested in creating their masterpiece ‘al fresco’ may call (547) 457-7100 to make advanced reservations.
“Our guests have truly enjoyed expressing their individual artistic sides with Kathy during our wine and Canvas events. While we’re sad to know that Kathy is leaving Syracuse, we wish her all the best as she pursues this next exciting chapter in her life.” said Jill Garris, Oakwood Resort Marketing and Sales Manager. “This should be a fun-filled evening for our guests, Kathy and our associates as we celebrate with her.”
