Laudy ‘Bea’ Stevens
Laudy “Bea” Stevens, 85, Warsaw, died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, in Grace Village Healthcare, Winona Lake.
She was born Jan. 14, 1931 in Prestonsburg, Ky. to Harris and Rhoda (Flannery) Bradley. She married Roger Stevens, Jan. 29, 1950 in Warsaw. She spent most of her life in Warsaw and had been empoyed at Kimble Glass, Kosciusko County courthouse, Owen’s Super Market and ultimately retired as a material handler from RR Donnelly. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily and watching old movies-especially westerns and musicals. In her earlier years she would spend hours working in her yard and landscaping.
She is survived by her daughter: Anna (Chris) Paulus, Leesburg; her son: Roger (Kathy) Stevens, Jr., Pierceton; six granddaughters and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband Roger, five brothers and eight sisters.
Visitation will take place from 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday July 16 at Titus Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur following the visitation at noon in the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Pfeiffer, Warsaw Community Church, will officiate. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
