Scott D. Eggleston
Scott D. Eggleston, 61, Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016, in Fisher Titus Medical Center.
He was born June 19, 1955, in Washington, to the late Robert L. and Carole J. (Warner) Eggleston, and came to this area in 1986 from Warsaw.
Scott was a member of Eagles Aerie 711, Norwalk, Ohio. He was a former employee of Industrial Powder Coatings, Norwalk, Ohio, S K Finishing, Lorain, Ohio, Autoplas of Bellevue, and was most recently employed at Artiflex of Clyde.
He was a talented artist, enjoyed playing golf, swimming and boating, NASCAR, and especially enjoyed spending time with family. Scott was an organ donor, saving the eyesight of two individuals with cornea donation.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Anna L. (Jordan) Eggleston, Norwalk, Ohio; children: Jill (Bill) Lantz, Huron, Ohio; Cari (Jerry) Hazelwood, Norwalk, Ohio; and Robert (Emma) Eggleston, Norwalk, Ohio; four grandchildren: Jordan Eggleston (Taylor Moore); Annika; and Ethan Lantz; and Dylan Eggleston; siblings: Jane Allen, Union, Mich.; Kelly (Rick) Lenaeus, 29 Palms, Calif.; and Eric Eggleston, Norwalk, Ohio. He was also a father figure to so many more.
Friends may call 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 13, and from 3-5 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Norwalk Ohio. Rev. Ed Young will officiate. Another celebration of Scott’s life will be noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at American Legion Post 253, North Webster.
