Gerald R. Pfeiffer
Gerald R. Pfeiffer, 82, Warsaw, passed away at 3:38 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016, in his residence.
He was born on July 15, 1933, to Jesse and Inez (Klinger) Pfeiffer in Warsaw.
He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on a submarine. He enjoyed playing softball and going camping with the Kosko Kampers Klub, carving walking canes and he loved to decorate “over and above” for Christmas.
He was a Tool and Die Maker, working for Clausing Industrial Co. and Zimmer Inc.
Gerald is survived by his daughters: Tina (Robert) Keim, Goshen; and Lisa Jones, Bordentown, N.J.; a brother: Frank (Rebecca) Pfeiffer, Warsaw; two grandchildren: Andy Jones, Bordentown, N.J.; and Christian Pfeiffer-Laguerre, Goshen; two stepgrandchildren: Timothy; and Alex Keim, Goshen. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter: Julie Kay Pfeiffer.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 14, at Stony Point Cemetery, Clunette, with Pastor Tracey Pfeiffer officiating. There will be Military Honors by the American Legion Post #49, VFW Post #1126 and the Indiana Funeral Honor Guard.
A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
The family is requesting that the memorial contribution be made to the Warsaw – Wayne Fire Territory, Warsaw.
