Bryan Shidler
Bryan Shidler, 42, Ligonier, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, July 8, 2016 at his home.
He was born Aug. 9, 1973, the son of Robert F. and Elaine Sue (Smith) Shidler in Bowling Green, Ohio. On July 8, 1995 he married Kellie Joeva Honeycutt in Marion.
Bryan was an accomplished musician and was an active member of the praise band at Stones Hill Community Church. He was also a part of Revive, the youth praise band at Stones Hill Community Church. Bryan was the store manager at CVS Pharmacy in Ligonier. He really enjoyed music, going to movies, fly fishing, and playing video games and shooting guns with his daughters. He was able to be a part of many things due to his amazing sense of humor and quick wit. Above all this, Bryan loved spending time with his wife and children, Lydia and Eva.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Kellie Joeva Shidler of Ligonier; daughters, Lydia and Eva Shidler; father and stepmother, Robert and April Shidler of Ohio; sister, Brandy Comstock of Ohio; brother, David Shidler of Ohio; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Connie Honeycutt of Marion; sister-in-law, Lori Vice, and her fiancé, Randy Stone of Marion; along with his nieces, Kaicey and Kennedy; and nephews, Nolan, Alex, Jackson, and Charlie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Sue Shidler.
A celebration of life will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at Stones Hill Community Church– 151 West Stones Hill Rd. Ligonier. Pastor Joey Nelson will officiate. Friends and family may gather at the church from 1 p.m.–6 p.m. Thursday, July 14, for a formal visitation.
A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN following the service.
Memorial contributions in Bryan’s name may be directed to the family.
