Bourbon Woman Dies In Alabama Car Crash
MADISON, Ala. — Madison, Ala., police confirmed the driver of a vehicle that went off the road on I-565 westbound died this morning. Breanna Lemler, 21, of Bourbon was the driver of the car. Madison police said they received a call shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Sunday from a passerby.
Huntsville Police and first responders from Madison arrived to the scene on I-565 westbound just before Exit 13 near the Zeirdt Road Overpass.
Lemler was currently residing in Decatur, Ala., where she was working as an intern at a local company.
Authorities say that Lemler was traveling west when she left the road, traveled down the embankment and struck a tree.
Lemler was a graduate of Triton High School and student at Purdue University. Lemler was the 2014 Miss Blueberry Festival.
