Delbert L. Slabaugh
Delbert L. Slabaugh, 76, New Paris, died at 2:55 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, at his sister’s residence where he has resided for four months. He had been in ill health for 1.5 years. He was born July 24, 1939, in Nappanee to Levi T. and Lydia Ann (Miller) Slabaugh.
Mr. Slabaugh was a veteran of the United States Army. He had been a truck driver for CTX.
Surviving are brothers: Raymond (Linda) Slabaugh; Marvin (Betty) Slabaugh; Lonnie (Verba) Slabaugh; Jerry (Sara) Slabaugh, all of Nappanee; Leroy Slabaugh, Ligonier; and sisters: Martha (George) Casavice, South Bend; and Freida (Glen) Burkholder, New Paris.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at The Pond, Bremen. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10, also at The Pond. Ministers Keith Yoder and James Yoder will officiate and burial will be in Berea Christian Fellowship Cemetery.
