South Bend Cubs Homestand Highlights July 8-11
SOUTH BEND – The South Bend Cubs have announced their next homestand schedule, with special activities just for the kids.
On Friday night, area Boy Scouts are invited to spend the night at Four Winds Field and watch a movie on the video board. Sunday is the annual Princess in the Park – a chance for girls 12 and under to come to the ballpark dressed as their favorite princess and take part in a pre-game princess parade.
All homestand games take place at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South Street, South Bend. Tickets can be purchased online at SouthBendCubs.com or by calling the Box Office at (574) 235-9988.
Friday, July 8 vs. Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:35 p.m.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Boy Scout Night: Registered Boy Scouts get to spend the night at Four Winds Field and watch a movie on the video board. Call the Box Office for more details and to register.
Home Run for Life: The South Bend Cubs will honor a patient from Memorial Children’s Hospital who will run the bases during the game.
Fantastic Friday Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game.
Saturday, July 9 vs Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:05 p.m.
Gates open at 5 p.m.
Bucket Ruckus Appearance: The high energy percussion group will entertain fans throughout the game.
Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV.
Sunday, July 10 vs. Bowling Green Hot Rods, 2:05 p.m.
Gates open at noon
Princess in the Park: A special day for our princesses 12 years old and under. Includes an exclusive meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with our Princesses, participation in an on-field princess parade and unlimited access to the Fun Zone. Princess wristbands are available at the Box Office for $15 (game ticket not included).
Youth Replica Jersey Giveaway: The first 1,000 kids 12 and under through the gates receive a South Bend Cubs youth jersey.
Sunday Funday, Kids Club Day: Play catch on the field before the game and meet your favorite South Bend Cubs player during the post-game autograph session.
Monday, July 11 vs. Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:05 p.m.
Gates open at 6 p.m.
Belly Buster Monday: All-you-can-eat hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn with the purchase of an $8 wristband. (Offer must be purchased with game ticket.)
