Medtronic Volunteers Raise Money For Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund
WARSAW — Medtronic employees who were part of a volunteer team called “Mission in Motion”, were on hand to deliver a check to the K21 Health Foundation for the Cancer Care Fund of Kosciusko County. During the month of April, many employees participated in purchasing t-shirts, satisfying their sweet tooth with the candy sales, throwing pies at a few managers, or playing fun “Minute to Win It” games.
The facility came together and gave the (KCCCF) a check for $2,300.00. The donation will help patients with a variety of expenses such as mortgage/rent payments, utilities, food and gas cards for those traveling to facilities for treatment.
Medtronic commends all the Mission in Motion Council Members and supporting managers. Year after year, many of them remain on the team because they are passionate about giving back to the community, enjoy encouraging employees to get involved, and they like to have fun with their co-workers.
