Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commission Approves Alcohol Permits
WARSAW — At this month’s Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commission meeting on Thursday, July 7, four businesses received alcohol permit renewals, one business was approved for a transfer of location and two businesses were approved for transfer of ownership.
Nicole Dippon came before the board on behalf of Milford Party Pack requesting a transfer of ownership. Dippon’s request was approved.
Jean Tarner spoke on behalf of 701 Tap House in Syracuse. The bar was approved for transfer of ownership and alcohol permit pending approval of inspection, to be done after construction is completed.
Katherine Cockrill spoke on behalf of Lizard’s Bar and Grill, requesting an alcohol permit renewal. This business had two violations. The first violation occurred when an employee served a minor alcohol. The owner has since paid the $500 fine and fired the employee involved. The second violation occurred when the business failed to renew their gaming license. the business paid the $550 fine and has requested an extension. Lizard’s Bar and Grill was approved for their permit.
The board renewed the alcoholic beverage permits for the following restaurants without representatives at the meeting: Wyndham Gardens, Tippecanoe Country Club and Raccoon Run Golf Course.
The next Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commission meeting will occur Thursday, August 4 at 1 p.m.
