BREAKING: Cottage Fire In North Webster
NORTH WEBSTER — Damage was contained to the back portion of a home at 53 EMS B12 Lane, North Webster, in an early morning fire. No one was home at the time of the fire.
North Webster Fire Department was called at 7:12 a.m. today, July 6, of a possible cottage fire on EMS B12 Lane. The first firefighters at the scene found heavy smoke coming from the back of the cottage owned by Tim Martin.
North Webster Fire Chief Jeremy Likens reported firefighters entered the home and quickly knocked down the fire. The cause is not initially known and will be investigated by the department.
Smoke and fire damage was contained to the back of the residence. No smoke damage was reported to the front of the home.
Turkey Creek Fire Territory was called for a full assist.
