WARSAW — Have you thought about entering anything into the Fair this year? Did you know that anyone can enter items into the Open Class Exhibits in the Kosciusko County Fair? Your chance to be a Grand Champion is quickly approaching. Entry day for the Kosciusko County Fair will be Saturday, July 9 from 8 until 11:30 a.m. at the Home and Family Arts Building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.
The Open Class Departments consist of: agriculture, crafts, fine arts, foods, food preservation garden flowers & plants, herbs, needlework, quilting and sewing. There are many divisions within each of these departments including miscellaneous; so if you make something in one of these categories, there is a good chance it can be entered into an exhibit!
Please obtain an Open Class Fair Book before entry day, so you know the categories and rules for the items you would like to enter. The Open Class Fair book can be obtained by coming by the Purdue Extension office at 202 W. Main Street in Warsaw, by calling the Extension Office at (574) 372-2340, or online.
For more information, please contact the Purdue Extension Office at (574) 372-2340. The Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers are looking forward to seeing all of the Open Class Exhibits for this “100 Years of Memories”.
