Patricia M. Yoder, 94, Plymouth, passed away in the We Belong Senior Home at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, July 3, 2016.
She was born Jan. 26, 1922 in Plymouth, to the late Christian A. and Myrtle Ella (Schwenk) Hartman. Pat attended the Plymouth Schools.
On July 9, 1939, in Davenport, Iowa, Pat married Newell W. Yoder; they spent sixty-three years together before his passing on Aug. 10, 2002.
Pat was a secretary for the Marshall County Probation Department for fourteen years, retiring in 1987. Prior she was Dr. Reed and Dr. Coursey’s secretary for fifteen years.
Pat enjoyed watching birds, playing bridge and loved planting flowers and taking care of them.
Surviving are her children; Stephen K. and Marcia Yoder, Sarasota, Fla.; Jeffrey L. Yoder, Leesburg, Fla.; Phillip A. Yoder, Plymouth; James N. and Betty Yoder, Bremen; Kristy K. and Louis Spaid, Wheatland, Wyo.; and Nickie A. and Dennis Weidner, Plymouth. Also surviving are nineteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and three sisters.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
