Zachery Scott Eyer

WARSAW — Zachery Scott Eyer, 29, CR 850W, Pierceton, is being charged with a level 6 felony, possession of a syringe.

On June 24, Eyer’s grandmother alerted officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department that her grandson had been missing for several hours and had been making comments about harming himself. When Eyer’s grandmother located him, he was lying outside the residence and was “cold to the touch.”

When officers arrived they found a syringe and a belt where Eyer had been laying. Eyer admitted to using heroin before being found. Eyer was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital.

Eyer was released on his own recognizance and was given an initial hearing date.
