Eunice J. Vinogradov, 72, Churubusco, passed away at 8:53 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Vinogradov was born on Aug. 14, 1943 in Pound, Va., a daughter of John Curdes and Louverna (Gardner) Collins. She spent her formative years in Pound, Virgina, and graduated from Pound High School in 1961.
On July 7, 1969 she was married in U.S. Virgin Island to John Vinogradov, and moved from Pound, Va. to Churubusco in 1965.
She was employed at Byron Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist.
In her free time she enjoyed crafting, quilting, and reading.
Her spouse preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 2010.
The surviving relatives include her son, Edward P. Vinogradov of Churubusco; a grandson, Jesse John Vinogradov of Churubusco; a granddaughter Anastasia Carter; five sisters: Mary Ellen Hernam of Sebastian, Fla.; JuVada Strattan of Norton, Va.; Patricia Collier of Palm City, Fla.; Janice Oliver, Brenda Boggs both of Pound, Va.; a brother, Preston Collier of Manassas, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Curdes and Louverna (Gardner) Collier.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Pastor Lane Burgland, officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday.
