Densil Allen Brown
Densil Allen Brown was born on June 25, 1933, in Warsaw, to Dean and Ilean (Clase) Brown. He died Tuesday, June 28, 2016, in Arlington Heights, Ill.
Densil started his own medical lab and developed it into one of the largest private labs in northern Illinois. He was health officer for the cities of Mt. Prospect, Ill. and Prospect Heights, Ill., and on the board of trustees for Trinity International University in Deerfield, Ill. One of his passions was teaching financial principles and instructing others in starting up small businesses. He always loved having a vegetable garden. He could fix anything and was always helping his family with their home projects. Densil loved to spend time with his family and was loved by all.
Densil is survived by his spouse: Peggy (Williams), whom he married Nov. 29, 1952, in Milan, Tenn.; children: Cynthia (Richard) Hall; Deborah (Thomas) Black; David (Maria) Brown; and Matthew (Farimah) Brown; grandchildren: Steven (Andrea) Hall; Jonathan (Jessica) Hall; Timothy Hall; Joshua (Megan) Black; Talia (Cary) Dohman; Megan (Lucas) Streich; Arianna Brown; and Julianna Brown; great-grandchildren: Michah Hall; Dylan Hall; Natalie Hall; Lydia Hall; Noah Hall; Levi Hall; Declan Black; Bailey Black; Lilah Black; Benton Boley; Sawyer Boley; Mara Boley; Connor Dohman; and Maisie Streich; brothers: Samuel (Karen) Brown; and Dail (Pamela) Brown; sister-in-law: Beverly Brown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Gene Brown; and Sandra Brown.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., Arlington Heights, Ill. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, at the funeral home. Interment is at Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery, Arlington Heights, Ill.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Inner City Impact, Chicago, Ill., or Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Ill.
