Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
11:08 p.m. Friday, June 24, East US 30 east of East CR 200S, Pierceton. Drivers: Jordan J. Wadkins, 22, North CR 175E, Warsaw, and Jeffrey J. Logsdon, 20, North Tamarack Street, Warsaw. As Logsdon was slowing his vehicle for a merging semi, Wadkins’ vehicle struck it from behind. Damage up to $10,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:08 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 504 Turtle Bay Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: Suzanne M. Allen, 47, East Main Street, Syracuse, and Charles A. Weaver, 48, Walnut Street, New Paris. As Allen was backing her vehicle out of a parking space, it collided with Weaver’s oncoming vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:05 p.m. Friday, June 24, 756 S. Main St., North Webster. Driver: Teresa J. Wilson, 46, South East Street, North Webster. As Wilson was pulling into the parking lot, her vehicle hit a parked car, pushing it into a second parked car. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
8:26 a.m. Saturday, June 25, East Center Street and North Scott Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Erika L. Gayheart, 18, East Winona Avenue, Warsaw, and Emma J. Slone, 79, South Dawn Court, Silver Lake. Gayheart’s vehicle and Slone’s vehicle collided in the intersection. There were conflicting accounts as to who had the green light. Damage up to $2,500.
4:54 p.m. Friday, June 24, South Detroit Street and East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Stephen R. Gilbert, 19, West CR 700S, Mentone, and Edgard G. Postigo, 35, Wexford Place, Warsaw. Gilbert’s vehicle turned in front of Postigo’s vehicle in the intersection and they collided. A passenger in Postigo’s vehicle, Fernando Ramos, 35, Sharon Street, Warsaw, had the wind knocked out of him but declined medical treatment. Damage up to $25,000.
