Donald T. Stewart-UPDATED
Donald Thomas Stewart, 54, Etna Green, passed away at 7:54 p.m. June 17, 2016, from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident in Kosciusko County.
He was born Oct. 22, 1961, in Chicago, Ill., to Thomas and Marjorie Stewart.
He was a resident of the area all his life and was a graduate of Triton High School in 1980.
He had been a truck driver and most recently worked at Era max, Nappanee, as a machine operator. He was also an automobile enthusiast. He loved to restore cars; be involved in auto racing of all kinds, including most recently involvement in a Indy-style car; he enjoyed RC cars; guns; music; golf and pool. Needless to say, he enjoyed the world of auto racing. He could be found many times at Berkey’s Garage where he would hang out with his best friends to plan the next event. He was also a member of the National Guard Reserve.
Surviving are two sons: David (fiance Adrienne) Utter; and Larry, all of Etna Green. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of Donald’s life will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at the Machett Senior Center, Bourbon. Family will welcome friends to come and share their memories with the family.
