Warsaw School Board Member Receives ISBA Recognition
WARSAW — The Warsaw Community Schools Board of Trustees held a very brief regular meeting Monday evening, June 20.
Board member Jay Baumgartner was recognized for achieving level one of the Indiana School Board Association’s Certification Awards Program. There are four levels in all, with level four, or master level, being the highest. Recipients accumulate points by participating in ISBA seminars, conferences and retreats.
With school out for the summer, business was brief. The board approved the list of policy updates discussed at the board’s previous work session and Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert reminded everyone online registration is currently open for the 2016-17 school year.
Hoffert also recapped a list of grants and donations the schools have received for various programs and the board approved them.
