Gregory A. Holland
Gregory A. Holland, 61, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016, in his home with his family near.
Greg was born in Plymouth to Eldon C. “Dutch” and Mary Jane (Albert) Holland on Oct. 4, 1954. He graduated from Plymouth High School.
On Aug. 24, 2001, Greg married Ann E. Manning.
He worked for Akres/Maax in Plymouth as a maintenance manager for 40 years.
Greg enjoyed fishing, constructing things and doing landscaping. He was a “jack of all trades” kind of guy. He enjoyed following NASCAR, going to many races with Ann. The couple also did a lot of canning and gardening together. He loved family holidays, when everyone he loved was close to him. His arms were always open when his grandchildren came running.
Greg is survived by his wife: Ann of Grovertown; and their children: Christopher Holland, Belle Fourche, S.D.; Amy Holland, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Dana (Sterling) Rosenau, Dayton, Ohio; and Kevin Gal, Michigan; seven grandchildren; sisters: Kathy Holland, Highland; and Jan (Bill) Berger, Valparasio; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dave.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow in the funeral home at 6 p.m.
Family burial will take place on Thursday in the Grovertown Cemetery.
