Security Officer Charged With Exposing Himself At Leesburg Trailer Park
LEESBURG — Johnny Gomez, 49, 340 E. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, was booked for public indecency – nudity with the intent to arouse on June 16. According to court documents, Gomez, who is employed as a security officer at Whispering Pines Trailer Park, exposed himself while at least 14 children were present.
Around 9:10 p.m. on May 28, an officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was called out to Whispering Pines Trailer Park to complaints of sexual harassment and nudity. The victim told the officer that on May 26, Gomez had invited her and her children to his residence because he had set up a slip-n-slide for children to play on. At least 14 children were present at his residence during the evening.
The victim, who had known Gomez for some time, reported that he had often made sexual comments to her and other women in the past. The victim reported that Gomez made a comment during the evening that made her uncomfortable so she went outside of the residence.
Gomez continued to follow her in just his boxer shorts that eventually fell down causing him to become nude. Gomez then continued to chase the victim to her car while nude. The victim and her two children were in her vehicle when Gomez made sexual motions on the hood of her vehicle. The victim was eventually able to drive away.
The victim reported that Gomez later told her if she reported the incident he would have her evicted from the trailer park. Video was taken of the incident and used as evidence in the case.
Gomez was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on June 16 with a $500 bond.
