Harold D. Drudge
Harold D. Drudge, Sebring, Fla. (formerly of Claypool) was called home to his Lord and Savior Jan. 11, 2016. A memorial service to honor and celebrate his life will take place at 2 p.m. at South Pleasant United Methodist Church 5064 W 1400 North Manchester Sunday, June 26. Visitation will take place from 1-2 p.m. the same day.
Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a Corporal during the Korean Conflict. He spent his career as a Water Well Driller, owner/operator of G&K Well Drilling of Columbia City.
A former Boy Scout Leader and member of Claypool Lions Club, moving to Sebring after his retirement in 1998. Harold was a devout Christian, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor to many.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years: Carrol (Sue) Drudge; his children: Doug (Deb) Drudge; Tammi (Gary) Morgan; Shelly (Phil) Thomas; his grandchildren: Nikki (Jason) Holloway; Sam Thomas; Abbi (Darr) Parker; Dani (Robert) Niedbalski; Katie Thomas; and Jason Banter. A step granddaughter: Anastisia Morgan also survives along with his great granddaughter: Payton Niedbalski and “special” grandchildren: Adam, Andi and Ashley Warner. His sisters: Lois Smith, Maryanna Sprong and Janie (Jr.) Stutzman survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Beatrice Drudge; and brother: James Drudge.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Bible Fellowship Church, 3750 Hammock Rd., Sebring FL 33872
Interment was in Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Fla.
