Dead Sea Scroll Scholar Comes To North Webster
NORTH WEBSTER — Nehemia Gordon, a dead sea scroll scholar will be speaking at the Epworth Forest Conference Center at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 19.
Gordon is a scholar of the Dead Sea Scrolls, a collection of ancient scrolls discovered off the coast of the Dead Sea that contain some of the earliest known biblical texts, a speaker and an author. He has helped to translate the Hebrew translation of the Gospel of Matthew.
