William Fredrick Hall, 78, Columbia City, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born July 13, 1937 in Kalamazoo, Mich., a son of Archie M. and Ruth Margaret (Summerville) Hall. He completed his education in Kalamazoo.

On Nov. 18, 1961 he married Carolyn Sue McCord. They made their home in Compton, California and later Kalamazoo for 20 years. In 1993 they moved to South Whitley and in 2008 to Columbia City. Mrs. Hall died Feb. 4, 2009.

Mr. Hall retired from Mastercraft with over 20 years of service.

Surviving relatives include two sons: Archie (Connie) Hall II and David Hall, all of Columbia City; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers: Wayne Hall and Archie A. Hall, both of Gobles, Mich.; and a sister: Sandra Holt, Texas.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son: Billy Hall; and an infant daughter.

There will be no visitation or service.
