WARSAW — The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce Health Care committee is hosting a series of Kosciusko Wellness Lunch and Learns sponsored by Parkview Warsaw. Health and wellness topics have been selected by the committee that will serve as educational tools for the Kosciusko County workforce.

The public is invited to the next Kosciusko Wellness Lunch and Learn event, navigating the Healthcare System, with registration beginning at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 22. The event will be at Noa Noa, 310 Eastlake Dr., Warsaw. The Kosciusko Chamber member cost is $10, and the non-member cost is $20, which includes lunch. The lunch sponsor is IU Health – Goshen Home Medical.

The presentation will be on transformation in healthcare, what the affordable care act is all about and how it affects us as Americans, why is healthcare so expensive and is there any hope?

The presenter will be Larry D. Allen, MD, Family Physician. Dr. Allen attended medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed his residency at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
