Andy L. Yoder, 69, Akron, passed at 6:20 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on Oct. 31, 1946 in Dalton, Ohio to Levi and Anna (Byler) Yoder.
He married Ada Coblentz in Hartly, Del. on March 22, 1973, she survives
He owned and operated his own sawmill in Hartly, Del. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church attending in the Rochester and Akron areas.
Born to Andy and his wife Ada are eight daughters: Katie and husband Byron Miller, Akron; Christina and husband Samuel Schwartz, Leesburg; Rhoda Yoder, Georgia; Freda and husband Chris Eicher, Shipshewana; Ada and husband Emanuel Swartzentruber, Macy; Elizabeth and husband Ernest Eicher, Nappanee; Alma Yoder, Akron; and Verba Yoder, Akron. Four sons: Raymond and wife Josephine (Raber) Yoder, Chetopa, Kan.; Leroy and wife Erma (Raber) Yoder, Akron; Andy Jr. and wife Rebecca (Taylor) Yoder, Winterville, N.C.; Vernon Yoder, Akron; and 20 grandchildren
His four brothers survive: Ervin, Danny and Levi Jr. of Hartly, Del.; and Roman, Carlton, Penn. Two sisters: Barbara Yoder and husband Elmer and Elizabeth Yoder and husband Harvey of Hartly, Del.
He was preceded in death by: his parents Levi and Anna Yoder and several aunts and uncles
The funeral will be held at noon, Friday, June 10, at Pleasant Hill School 235 W Pleasant Hill Road Akron. Bishop Jason Plank will officiate. Burila will occr at Bockover Amish Cemetery Pleasant Hill Road Miami County, Akron. Visitation hours are after 8:30 am, Thursday, June 9, at Andy’s Residence 2200 S. St. Rd. 19, Akron.
