Janice Marie (Schultz) Hite — UPDATED
Janice Marie (Schultz) Hite, 63, Plymouth, died June 3, 2016 at 3:30 a.m. at Signature Health Care, Bremen, following a brief illness since February.
She was born on Feb. 8, 1953 in Plymouth, to Robert Schultz and Marian (Dipert) Schultz-Paton and had lived all of her life in the Marshall County area.
Janice shared many years together with E. Richard “Rick” Hite prior to their marriage on July 13, 2007 on Lawrence Lake. They were best friends and enjoyed fishing and spending time with their grandchildren. Janice was a production worker at Indiana Heat Transfer Corporation, Plymouth, recently retiring.
She had attended Plymouth Church of the Brethren, Plymouth and was a graduate of Plymouth High School with the class of 1971.
Janice is survived by her Husband: E. Rick Hite of Plymouth; her daughters: Melissa Courtney and husband Marcus, Culver; and Melanie Brown, Plymouth; her step-sons: Richard Hite, Valparaiso; and Todd Hite, Plymouth; grandchildren: Hadley Courtney, Jordan and Noah Brown; step-grandchildren:Meredith, Sydney, Carissa, and Kyra Hite; brothers: Ron Schultz and wife Joann, Plymouth; Mark Schultz, Overland Park, Kan.; and Rich Paton and wife Amy, Plymouth.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday June 9 from 6 p.m.–8 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos. Funeral Services will follow the visitation on June 9, at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren.
