Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
4:47 p.m. Thursday, June 2, East CR 1300N and North CR 175E, Milford. Drivers: Galen D. Stouder, 59, Regina Road, New Paris, and Anthony D. Greenfield, 51, Westfield Avenue, Goshen. Stouder became distracted and his vehicle collided with Greenfield’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
11:39 a.m. Thursday, June 2, South CR 250E south of US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Patrick M. Dillon, 19, East Center Street, Warsaw, and Sally A. Truman, 82, Avalon Court, Winona Lake. Dillon turned his vehicle into the path of Truman’s oncoming vehicle and they collided. Damage up to $25,000.
10:06 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, East Old Road 30 and South Brallier Road, Pierceton. Drivers: Gregory Wireman, 55, West CR 250S, Warsaw, and Daniel S. Schroeder, 28, Poplar Street, Huntington. Wireman and Schroeder were both driving behind a slow-moving piece of equipment. Wireman began going around the equipment as Schroeder was making a lefthand turn and their vehicles collided. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
5:15 a.m. Monday, June 6, East Old 30 east of North CR 900E, Pierceton. Driver: 27, Raleigh Court, Columbia City. Moore’s vehicle collided with a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
12:32 p.m. Monday, June 6, Downy Drive east of Shelden Street, Warsaw. Driver: Anthony A. Oler, 44, Downey Lane, Warsaw. Oler’s vehicle collided with a parked car. Damage up to $2,500.
8:06 a.m. Monday, June 6, 1821 E. Market St., Warsaw. An unknown vehicle hit a parked car. and drove away. Damage up to $5,000.
1:46 p.m. Sunday, June 5, East Center Street and North Harrison Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Sue A. Timmons, 55, Pam Street, Warsaw, and William E. Thomas, 54, North Maple Avenue, Warsaw. Timmons drove her vehicle into the path of Thomas’s oncoming vehicle and they collided in the intersection. Thomas was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with complaints of pain in his arm and chest. A passenger in Timmons’s vehicle, Peggy J. Welty, 78, Pam Street, Warsaw, also complained of chest pain but declined medical treatment. There was conflicting witness testimony as to who had the red light. Damage up to $2,500.
