The short films will be released to the Kosciusko Cares Youtube channel and one film will be used as a movie theater ad at North Pointe Cinemas. The films are a part of the Kosciusko Cares positive messaging campaign.
Kosciusko Cares has evolved from its initial purpose of collecting and evaluating community data and information to the development and implementation of evidence-based programs to support health and wellness for youth and families. It is now entering a new phase to serve county residents in the area of prevention by increasing prevention messages, educating the public regarding mental health issues and substance abuse problems and implementing community wide programs involving youth.
In January Kosciusko Cares, under the umbrella of Bowen Center, was accepted as an associate member of the Indiana Youth Services Association and, as such, will become a fully accredited Youth Services Bureau later this year.
