Art Fans Enjoy Winona Lake Event, Despite Rain
WINONA LAKE — The first day of the 2016 Village at Winona Art Fair brought rain, but it also brought art fans from all over to browse artists’ wares.
Umbrellas added to the array of colors as potters, glassworkers, painters, photographers and jewelry makers displayed their goods under the relatively dry safety of small tents. Some of the artists are from out of state while others were from the local area.
Most visitors did not seem to mind the rain as they explored the booths, bought pieces they liked and listened to live music. The show will continue throughout the weekend and will be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday, June 5.
