Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:28 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, US 30 east of Old Road 30. Drivers: Laura R. Baker, 26, East Longspur Lane, Warsaw, and Edward J. Brawner, Old Tennessee Road, Cartersville, Ga. Baker attempted to turn left at the flashing red light into the path of Brawner’s oncoming semi-truck and they collided. Damage up to $10,000.
9:06 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, South SR 25 south of Rozella Road, Warsaw. Driver: Vina M. Jackson, 66, North CR 575E, Warsaw. Jackson’s vehicle collided with a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
4 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, East Center Street and South Scott Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Charles P. Murphy, 51, EMS T13 Lane, Leesburg, and Julee G. Rauch, 56, East Cherokee Road, Syracuse. Murphy’s vehicle rear-ended Rauch’s when Rauch braked for the yellow light. Damage up to $2,500.
3 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, South Detroit Street and East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Destiny I. Sheets, 19, West CR 200S, Warsaw, and Michael S. Cox, 69, East Island View Drive, Warsaw. As Sheets was making a lefthand turn, she lost control of her vehicle and it collided with Cox’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
