Sandra L. Hamilton
Sandra L. Hamilton, 79, Warsaw, passed away at 6:48 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born May 8, 1937, to John B. and Alice (Budka) Hinchy in North Judson. She was united in marriage on July 21, 1979, to William Hamilton in Plymouth.
She retired form Penguin Point Catering, Warsaw. Sandra was a Cubs Baseball fan and also enjoyed going to Casinos and most of all her family and all of her grand and great-grandchildren.
Sandra is survived by her daughters: Rochella (Stephen) Ransom, North Judson; Dawn (Roger) Ransbottom; and Cathy (David) Rapp, both of Warsaw; a sister: Joan (Donald “Don”) Young, Burbank, Ill.; a sister-in-law: Betty Hinchy, Rockville; 12 grandchildren: Chrissy; Cheyenne; and Justin; Sarah; and Bradley; Karrin; David; and Lindsay; Tyvan; and Nicolette; LauraBeth; and Sterling; Daren; and Rachel; Alan; Brycelyn; Mackenzie; and Maxwell; and 14 great-grandchildren: Jordan; Jake; Jenna; Ezra; Kylie; Mia; Presley; Chloe; Jayda; Jaycee; Canton; Colt; Scarlett; and Oaklee. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one sister; a son; and her husband: William “Bill” Hamilton.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Wes Radtke officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
A viewing will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
The family is requesting that the memorial contributions be made to Lutheran Children’s Hospital of Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
