‘Flintstones’ Footmobile Slapped With Parking Ticket
KEY WEST, FLA. — Fred Flintstone just narrowly avoided getting his ride towed.
Officials in Key West, Florida, appealed for information Thursday, May 26, after a vehicle resembling the stone-age family’s “footmobile” was found parked illegally on the street.
The very-vintage-vehicle was slapped with a ticket, but the City of Key West said on its Facebook page that it “would really like to find the owner before we have to take it away.”
Before the ancient auto was sent to the impound, however, the city proclaimed that “the owner has been located!”
It added: “Thanks to everyone who helped on this! And thanks for all the funny remarks. This island is awesome!”
