Carl Richard ‘Bubba’ Anderson
Carl Richard “Bubba” Anderson, 54, Warsaw, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016, in I.U. Health Goshen Hospital. Bubba fought a courageous battle with cancer and won the fight because he is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
On Nov. 4, 1961, he was born in Warsaw, to Warren and Betty (Mann) Anderson. He was united in marriage to Karen Clemons on May 23, 1992, in Silver Lake, who survives.
Bubba served our country in the U.S. Army as a crew chief with the Medi-Vac Unit. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant from 1980 – 1986. He was General Manager for PEP Trigon, Warsaw and attended Warsaw Community Church. Bubba liked to fly planes, scuba dive, racing, golfing and was always looking for any kind of new adventure.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years: Karen Anderson, Warsaw; three children: Christopher (Megan) Anderson, Warsaw; Taylor Anderson, San Diego, Calif.; Nigel Anderson, West Lafayette; two sisters: Becky Conley, Warsaw; Teresa (Mike) Spangle, Warsaw; and his mother-in-law: Bonnie Clemons, Warsaw. Bubba was preceded in death by his mother; father; and his sister: Leeanna Muck.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor James Lipkins officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military honors provided by the American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, in the funeral chapel.
