Grace College Track: Four Lancers In NAIA Championships
GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Grace College track and field team will be represented by four student-athletes at the 2016 NAIA Track and Field Outdoor Championships.
Senior Jesse Feitz qualified in two events and starts the participation for coach Jeff Raymond’s program. Feitz, a graduate of LaVille High School, will compete in the javelin on Thursday at 4 p.m. Feitz will also throw the discus on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Senior Macallister Seitz is Grace’s highest-ranked competitor. He enters the NAIA field ranked 13th out of 28 in the discus and will throw on Friday at 6 p.m.
Seniors Jo Boren (400 meters) and Nathan Brown (high jump) will both compete on Friday afternoon. Boren is a graduate of Lakeland Christian Academy in Winona Lake, while Brown attended East Noble High School in Kendallville.
The 2016 NAIA Championships are held in Gulf Shores, Ala., at the Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium.
