WALKERTON – Triton pounded the ball all game long in a 20-0 rout at John Glenn Tuesday afternoon in non-conference softball.
Taytum Hargrave and Heather Stichter each had monster games, Hargrave going 5-5 with four runs scored while Stichter had a season-high four RBIs to go with three hits and three runs scored. Stichter hit her first homer of the season while Nicole Sechrist mashed her fifth bomb of the spring.
Triton as a whole had 20 hits, with Courtney Jennings grabbing three of those, driving in four. Jennings got the win in the circle, holding Glenn to two hits in four innings. Sechrist pitched the final inning, giving up a hit.
Triton moves to 10-10 with the win and has a doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday afternoon against Argos.
