Blayne A. Woodcock
Blayne A. Woodcock, 51, Warsaw, passed away at 10 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born on Sept. 14, 1964, to Gerald and Carol (Ripplemeyer) Woodcock in Belleville, Ill.
He was united in marriage on March 15, 1997, to Christy Pennington in Pierceton. He worked for Metzger Trucking as a truck driver, and has been a truck driver for 27 years. Blayne loved to do demolition derbies with his children and had several trophies.
Blayne is survived by his wife: Christy Woodcock, Warsaw; his children: Zach; Josh; and Breanna Woodcock, all of Warsaw; his sister: Jody Woodcock, Waterloo, Ill.; a grandson: Noah ‘Papaws Boy’ Woodcock, Warsaw; two brothers-in-law: ‘JR’ (Deb) Pennington, Winona Lake; Jake Pennington, Jacksonville, Fla.; his parents: Gerald and Carol Woodcock, Waterloo, Ill.; his mother and father-in-law: Charles and Judy Pennington, Warsaw; a paternal grandmother: Lena Woodcock, Waterloo, Ill. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and his maternal grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at Gods Highway to Heaven Church at 1 p.m. Saturday May 21, 2016, with Reverend Robert Brown officiating. No burial is planned.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be made to the Woodcock family, care of McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted to the family for arrangements.
