Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
11:08 a.m. Sunday, May 15, South SR 13 north of East CR 400S, Pierceton. Driver: Jacob L. Foster, 18, East CR 350N, Warsaw. Foster’s vehicle collided with a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
7 p.m. Saturday, May 14, West CR 1250N east of North CR 200W, Milford. Driver: Timothy R. Barry, 28, North CR 925E, North Webster. Barry became distracted and lost control of his vehicle, which went into a ditch. Damage up to $1,000.
1:14 p.m. Friday, May 13, East US 30 and South CR 325E, Warsaw. Drivers: Lana J. Hisey, 38, East Amhurst Lane, Warsaw, and William M. Cotter, 60, California, Bridgeman, Mich. Hisey’s vehicle hit Cotter’s vehicle at the crossover. Damage up to $10,000.
1:06 p.m. Friday, May 13, South CR 450W north of West CR 600S, Claypool. Driver: Matthew C. Swafford, 24, South CR 450W, Claypool. Swafford swerved his vehicle and it went into a ditch, hitting a mailbox. Damage up to $2,500.
11:03 a.m. Friday, May 13, West CR 200S and South SR 25, Warsaw. Drivers: Mary M. Watkins, 18, North Bay Drive, Warsaw, and Nancy J. Kreig, 63, South CR 750W, Akron. Watkins pulled her vehicle into the path of Kreig’s oncoming vehicle and they collided. Damage up to $10,000.
7:29 a.m. Friday, May 13, South SR 15 south of Rozella Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Tanya R. Smith, 40, Fisher Avenue, Warsaw, and Bonnie Wong, 17, South Talley Ho Circle, Warsaw. Smith’s vehicle pulled into the path of Wong’s oncoming vehicle and they collided. Damage up to $10,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
8:39 p.m. Sunday, May 15, South Buffalo Street south of Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Zachary L. Webb, 18, South Faye Lane, Claypool, and Columbus S. JR, 73, Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. While attempting a lefthand turn, Webb pulled his vehicle into the path of JR’s oncoming vehicle and they collided. Damage up to $10,000.
3:47 p.m. Saturday, May 14, East Center Street and North Harrison Street, Warsaw. Drivers: James W. Miller, 48, East John Street, Pickford, Mich., and Kristen B. Shoemaker, 31, East Smith Street, Warsaw. Miller continued through the intersection at the light and his vehicle collided with Shoemaker’s. A witness stated Miller ran the red light. Shoemaker was transported to the hospital with complaints of lower arm pain. A passenger in Shoemaker’s vehicle, Brooklyn Shoemaker, 11, was also transported with complaints of lower leg/foot pain. Damage up to $10,000.
2:08 p.m. Saturday, May 14, West Perry Street east of North Union Street, Warsaw. An unknown vehicle hit a parked car and the driver drove off. Damage up to $5,000.
10:58 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2505 E. Center St., Warsaw. Driver: Donald I. Huffman, 81, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Huffman’s vehicle swerved, jumped the curb and smashed into a nearby business. Damage up to $50,000.
10:18 p.m. Friday, May 13, North Lincoln Street south of East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Taylor M. Stahly, 25, East Center Street, Warsaw, and Jon L. Garber, 63, West Bensart Drive, Claypool. Stahly backed her vehicle out of a driveway and it hit Garber’s oncoming vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
