Official Charges Filed Against Case
WARSAW — Aaron Kaylan Case, 20, 1018 Pike Shore Drive, Warsaw, was arrested on April 28, preliminarily charged with maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia. Official charges were filed May 6 in Kosciusko Circuit Court. The official charges include possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance, level 6 felonies and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
The affidavit of probable cause filed by Warsaw Police Department states on April 28, police received information that complaints of drug activity had been received for Case’s address. Information was additionally received that people had observed people smoking drugs in an alcove area of that area including Daniel Holbrook who was wanted on a warrant.
Surveillance on the residence was conducted with police observing individuals exiting the apartment. Obtaining information that Holbrook was residing at that location, police went to the residence. The renter of the apartment invited officers inside where they found Holbrook lying on the bed surrounded by Case, Kyle E. Bradford and Malina Roberts.
Holbrook was arrested on the warrant and police found a needle in his pocket. Bradford stated he had marijuana and rolling papers in his possession, turning the items over to police. Case turned over a smoking pipe to police. In his bedroom they found a paper roll used for ingesting drugs, smoking pipe, eyeglass case containing a razor and numerous plastic bags, digital scales, spoon, and items containing residue that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Case was arrested and held on $5,000 surety and $250 cash bond.
