Former ND Player Bryant Shot In Florida
Former Notre Dame running back Greg Bryant is in critical condition at a Florida hospital after being shot in West Palm Beach.
Police say Bryant and passenger Maurice Grover were found shot early Saturday in a car along southbound Interstate 95. Grover had minor injuries.
Bryant rushed for 289 yards on 54 carries and three touchdown as a sophomore for the Irish in 2014. He was suspended for the entire 2015 season because of academics and elected to transfer.
He spent last season living in hotel rooms in Miami with friends while attending classes at ASA College, playing in only one game.
Bryant has since ended up at UAB, the biggest name in the school’s first recruiting class since restarting the football program.
