Tippecanoe Valley Baseball: Vikings Fall To Southwood
WABASH – The Tippecanoe Valley baseball team came out on the short end of a 4-2 final at Southwood Monday in a key Three Rivers Conference game.
The Vikings managed just two hits in the league contest.
Brandon Webster had a hit, an RBI and drew two walks for Valley, which was outhit 7-2 in the game. Eric Hammer had the other hit for the Vikings. Alec Craig drew four walks, stole two bases and scored both runs for Valley.
Craig took the pitching loss as he allowed two hits and two earned runs in one inning of work. Hammer worked five innings on the hill, allowing one earned run on five hits with five strikeouts and three walks.
Valley plays at Bethany Christian today (May 3).
