Kelly Neace — UPDATED
Kelly Neace, 50, Pierceton, passed away at 5:20 pm Sunday, May 1, 2016, in his residence.
On Aug. 5, 1965, he was born in Coshocton, Ohio to Chris and Sara (Kanuckle) Neace. He was united in marriage to Carol Bodenheimer on Aug. 9, 2009 in Pierceton, who survives.
Formerly of Chapman Lake, Kelly moved to Pierceton eight years ago. He worked for R.E.M.C. for sixteen years. He was a former lineman and currently serving as a service man. He was a member of Deuces’ Wild Bike Club. Kelly also was an avid bike rider, coon hunter and horseshoe player.
Kelly is survived by his wife: Carol Neace, Pierceton; his daughter: Olivia Neace, Columbus, Ohio; six step children: Tristen Giescy, Coshocton, Ohio; Megan (and spouse James) McCarron, Ewa, Hawaii; Jacquelyn Schlichter, Pierceton; Samantha (and spouse Troy) Bailey, Nappanee; Jacob (and companion Gabrielle) Schlichter, South Whitley; Mayci Schlichter, Pierceton; his sister: Christine Sycks, Coshocton, Ohio; his brother: Ray (and spouse Alice) Neace, Columbus, Ohio; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Rachel.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Polly Noble Family Cemetery, Breathitt County, Ky. on Saturday, May 7.
Visitation hours will be from 4– 8 p.m. Thursday, May 5 in the funeral chapel.
