Nicole Ann Snyder
Nicole Ann Snyder, 22, Bourbon, passed away Friday, April 29, at Life Care Center, Rochester, with her family at her side. She had battled cancer for the past few years.
Nicole was born the daughter of Judith Ann Snyder and Donald Eugene Perkins June 14, 1993, in Plymouth. She was a resident of Bourbon all her life and was a graduate of Triton High School, class of 2011. She continued her education in art at the Art Institute of Indianapolis and at Indiana University, Terra Haute.
She loved horses and art. She was a member of the Triton art club, Triton spirit club, drama department, science club and Destination Imagination. She had worked at The Big Apple restaurant, Bourbon, Bourbon Street Pizza and volunteered many hours at the Bourbon Public Library. Nicole was also a member of the Bourbon Bible Church and AWANA club at her church.
Her beautiful smile was a bright spot in everyone’s day.
Nicole is survived by her mother, Judith Johnson, and her aunt, Susan Snyder, who was her caretaker through her battle with cancer. She also has a sister, Samantha Johnson, Bedford; two brothers: Daniel Snyder, West Lafayette, and Noah Perkins, Bourbon; aunts and uncles: Retha Conner, Jim and Vicky Snyder, Charlie and Cheryl Snyder, Denis and Kathy Snyder, Mark and Crystal Snyder, Nancy and Brett Nordmann and Gary Snyder, along with many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Perkins; maternal grandparents: Ruth and Robert Snyder; and a cousin, Kyra Shay Greene.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Bourbon Bible Church, Bourbon. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 5, at the church with Pastor Larry Goss officiating. Burial will be in Parks Cemetery, Bourbon.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the family to help defray expenses.
